How To Dye A Human Hair Wig Blonde

Hey babes.
Today, I wanted to come to you guys with a quick tutorial on a little hack I found for dyeing a whole wig. We're going to dive right into it.
I'm starting off with a 12-inch deep wave wig. The goal was to bleach this wig to a 27 color without any splotchiness. Sometimes, when sections start to process before you get to the next one, you end up with uneven results, which is no bueno. But with this technique, I got a gorgeous, consistent blonde color that toned perfectly. So, if you want to see how I achieved this look, keep watching!

Step 1: Prepare Your Bleach Mixture

I started with a dollar store container that was big enough to mix a large batch of bleach. I used BW2 powder, and I think I used about six scoops. This was to ensure there was enough bleach to truly saturate the hair without having to manipulate it too much and risk tangling it.

Next, I added 30 volume developers. You want this mixture to be a little thinner than usual so it can blend through the strands and give you more slip when maneuvering it through the hair. I mixed it until I was happy with the consistency. It was a bit runny, but still strong enough to bleach the hair effectively.

Step 2: Apply the Bleach

I dipped my wig into the mixture, swirling it around to ensure it absorbed all the dye. I massaged it, parted it, and made sure to get into all the roots. The faster you do this, the better, as the hair will start lifting quickly.

Once I felt the bleach was evenly distributed, I covered the container with a large sheet of aluminum foil. This helps conduct a bit of heat, speeding up the bleaching process. I checked it periodically and gave it a little adjustment before covering it again. Flipping the wig halfway through ensures both sides get evenly bleached.

Step 3: Check and Rinse

After about 30 minutes, I removed the foil, and it was perfect! The color lifted beautifully. After toning, the blonde level was just right.

Final Look

This is the finished look—a super even-colored Human Hair Wigs that's simply gorgeous. The curl pattern remained intact because we only dyed it once, minimizing damage and preserving the curls. This method is my new favorite for dyeing entire wigs.
