How to Style a Wig?
Hello everyone! Today, I’m excited to show you five different ways to wear your wig. Whether you have a lace front synthetic wig or a fixed part wig, you can achieve a variety of styles that look natural and fabulous. Let’s dive into it!

Tools You'll Need
Before we get started, gather these essential tools:
Wig comb or wig brush
Rat tail comb or any fine-tooth comb for sectioning
Thick headband
Tiny rubber bands
Small hair clips (like the nostalgic butterfly clips)
Bobby pins
Large scrunchie
Style 1: Simple Side Part
Create a Side Part: Shift your wig’s part from the center to the side. This style is perfect for those with brunette hair or dirty blonde hair wigs.
Pull Back a Section: Take a three-inch section of hair from the fuller side of the part.
Clip It Back: Secure this section with a medium-sized hair clip near your ear. This easy style instantly changes the look of your wig and works well with both 3C hair and 4A hair types.

Style 2: Cute Half-Up with Baby Clips
Section Front Strands: Take a small amount of hair from the front, about the width of your eyebrows, and clip them together with a baby clip to keep them out of the way.
Pull Back Small Sections: From each side of your part, take small sections of hair and clip them back with baby clips. This style is ideal for fluffy hair or 4C hair types.
Adjust Clips: Place the clips either closer to the front or further back, depending on your preference.
Style 3: High Ponytail with Scrunchie
Section Front Strands: As before, section off some front strands and clip them out of the way.
Create a High Ponytail: Gather small sections of hair from each side, bring them together, and secure with a small rubber band. This look is great for curly hair types, especially 3B hair and wavy hair.
Add a Scrunchie: Enhance the high ponytail by adding a fluffy scrunchie. This style can give a cute hair look, similar to the hairstyles seen on long-haired Chihuahuas or anime hair characters.
Style 4: Headband Style
Section Front Strands: Pull some strands forward again.
Position the Headband: Slide the headband over your head and position it under the wig’s hairline. This is perfect for high-porosity hair wigs or those with nappy hair.
Adjust and Style: Pull some hair out to frame your face and ensure the headband hides the hairline. This style is great for wigs with less natural hairlines and can resemble the popular butterfly haircut.
Style 5: Low Ponytail
Secure the Wig: Make sure your wig is securely in place, especially around the ear tabs.
Gather Hair into a Ponytail: Pull the hair back into a low ponytail and secure it with a hair tie. This is ideal for messy hair looks or for achieving a tousled hairstyle as seen in fashion magazines.
Optional Half-Up Style: You can also gather the top half of your hair into a half-up ponytail for a casual look, reminiscent of the wolf cut hairstyle.
Tips for Styling Your Wig
Be Gentle: Avoid pulling too tightly on the wig to prevent lifting the cap.
Use Clips and Bands: Rubber bands and hair clips can help keep sections secure and neat.
Experiment: Don’t be afraid to try new styles and adjust parts as needed.
These versatile styles can make one wig look completely different each time you wear it. Whether you're looking for a simple everyday look or something a bit more fun, these styles are easy to achieve and perfect for any occasion. From hairstyles for short hair to styles for women over 60, there’s something here for everyone.
